Rtd IGP Suleiman Abba is a retired law enforcement officer with 31 years of experience in serving the nation by safeguarding lives and property, and strengthening safety and security programmes for the Nigeria Police Force where he retired as the Inspector-General of Police in 2015.
He holds B.A (Hons) in History of University of Jos, LLB (Hons) from the University of Abuja. He was called to Nigerian Bar in 2006 after he completed the mandatory one year vocational legal training at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. Rtd IGP Suleiman Abba is an Alumnus of London School of Economics.
He has achieved many feats during his service in the Nigeria Police Force in various capacities. He served as Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Commissioner of Police Rivers State Command, Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Abuja and finally as Inspector-General of Police
Being a law enforcement officer and legal practitioner, he coordinated many activities of the Police and its subsidiaries. He was the Board Chairman, Nigeria Police Cooperative Multi-Purpose Society Ltd, IGP’s Permanent Representative on Board of Governors National Judicial Institute, IGP representative in Presidential Committee on Nigeria Centenary Celebrations, IGP Representative on development of National (NPF) Infrastructure Master Plan.
Rtd IGP Suleiman Abba has attended many courses in diverse fields of specialization within and outside the country which include; International trainings as member International Association of Chief of Police, ASCON Higher Management Course, Leadership and Strategic Management Workshop for AIGs of Nigeria Police Force etc. He is happily married with children and enjoys playing football.
CP Sholla David was appointed to the Board as a Director on 23rd December, 2016. He graduated from University of Ibadan where he bagged B.Sc. in Political Science before joining the Nigeria Police Force. He was the Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Pension Office, where he also represented Police Pension office on the Board of NPF Pensions Limited. He was transferred as the Commissioner of Police in charge of Nigeria Police Multi-purpose Cooperative Society Limited, where he currently represents on the Board of NPF Pensions Limited.
He holds Post graduate Diploma in Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He has served in many Commands and Formations of the Nigeria Police Force. He served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Zone 9 Headquarters; Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Admin in Zone 10 Headquarters, Area Commander in Ogun, Oyo, Kebbi States. He was appointed by the Police Management as the Commissioner of Police in charge of Pension Office in 2016.
CP Sholla has attended many courses and workshops from where he garnered experiences in management and administration within and outside the country. He attended training in Citizenship and Leadership, Workshop on recruitment and selection process, Industrial Training Fund Management, Port Security Management Course in London, ASCON Higher Management Workshop, National Defence Course and others. He attended Kellogg School of Management’s training on, “Corporate Governance: Effectiveness and Accountability in Boardroom”.
He has many academic write-ups to his credit which amongst others include thesis on Cold War Era. He was the best graduating Cadet ASP in Academics in Police College Ikeja in 1987 and best Intermediate Command Course Essay prize in Police Staff College Jos in 2001. He is a member of International Association of Chiefs of Police, Citizenship and Leadership Training Club of Ibadan and a member Matey Club of Nigeria, Lagos.
He is married with children and plays football, table tennis and watching detective and crime movies.
DCP Ibrahim Tarfa is a Deputy Commissioner of Police representing the Police Pension Office on the Board of NPF Pensions Limited.
He holds B.Sc. in Sociology and Anthropology with Upper credit of the University of Maiduguri, before his enlistment into the Nigerian Police Force in 1990. He holds MSc in Defence and Strategy Studies from Nigerian Defence Academy and Masters in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice from Ahmadu Bello University.
Ibrahim has grew achieved many feats, which earned him awards of recognition within and outside the country.
Being a law enforcement officer, with zeal to achieve greatly, he has over the years grew on the ranks of the Nigeria Police Force, having served in various capacities as DPO, Area Commander and presently on the IGP’s Management Position.
He has attended many courses in diverse fields of specialization within and outside the country. He is happily married with children and enjoys playing football, reading and sports generally.
Hamza Sule Wuro Bokki, Ph.D, is the Managing Director/CEO of NPF Pensions Limited and brings on board his over 26years experience as a manager of resources, Investment Banker, Community Leader and Corporate Governance.
Dr. Hamza was the immediate past Commissioner for Trade and Industry in Gombe State; pioneer MD/CEO of Apt Pension Funds Managers Ltd.; Pioneer MD/CEO of Gombe State Investment and Property Development Co. Ltd., Vice-Chairman/Supervisory Councillor, Primary Health Care, Yalmatu/Deba LGA of Gombe State, Supervisory Councillor for Education and Works, Gombe LGA of Gombe State.
Hamza holds a Ph.D in Public Administration & Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja. He graduated with a First Class Honours Degree (top of class and department) in 1990 and subsequently a Masters Degree in Public Administration both from the University of Maiduguri.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Pension Institute and Member, Nigerian Institute of Management. He has served and is still serving on the Boards of several companies since the year 2000. He chaired the Audit Committee of Ashakacem Plc for 8 years.
Dr. Hamza was appointed as the MD/CEO of NPF Pensions Limited in February 2014. His experience as a pioneer in the new scheme has been the driving force for NPF Pensions Limited.
He has attended courses in various training schools including the Harvard Business School, Boston MA, USA and Asian Institute of Technology, Banghkok, Thailand. Hamza is married with children and loves reading, writing and travelling.
Mr. Nicholas Nwalozie Nneji is a seasoned Commercial and Investment Banker. He graduated with a BSc. Degree in Accountancy from the Abia State University in 1987 after his secondary school education at Federal Government College, Lagos in 1983. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos in 1997.
Mr. Nneji started his career at Central Bank of Nigeria, Bauchi as NYSC member in 1987 and thereafter worked at Olatunde Ayoola & Co. Chartered Accountants from 1989 and left in 1990 as an Audit Senior. He joined Afribank Nigeria Plc (Mainstreet Bank) in 1990 and left in 1992 as an Interbank Treasury Dealer. Between 1992-2005 he traversed several positions at FBN(Merchant Bankers) Limited, a subsidiary of First Bank, as Foreign Exchange Dealer, Deputy Head-Treasury, Head Operations, Financial Controller and Head Funds Management in Corporate Finance Division. As a pioneer staff and Head of Funds Management at FBN Capital Limited he developed and launched the then largest industry-size Mutual Fund; the N5 billion FBN Heritage Fund, as the Fund Manager, in 2008.
He moved in 2008 to ARM (Asset and Resource Management Company Limited) as Vice-President/ Financial Controller. Between 2009-2012 he worked as the Managing Director/ CEO of Summit Finance (Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange) and from 2013-2014 he was engaged by First Bank to provide Technical Assistance to the Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Cross River State. He became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2002 and member, Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2003. He attended the Complete Management Programme at the London Management Centre in 2001, U.K.
Mr. Nneji was appointed Executive Director (Investment) in NPF Pensions Limited in March, 2014 and brings his wealth of experience in the financial services industry to bear on the operations of the Company.
He is happily married.
Mr. Abdulkareem Shehu Gezawa is a versatile professional with immense and diversified financial management experience of over two decades, acquired at various institutions in Nigeria’s private and public sectors cutting across the banking, pension and insurance sub-sectors.
Prior to his joining NPF Pensions Limited, he was with National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) between 2009 and 2015, where he rose to the position of Deputy Director before he voluntarily resigned. While in the Public Service at NAICOM, he represented the Commission in some strategic National Committees which added to his vast experience in the Nigerian Financial Services Sector.
He has also worked in Apt Pension Funds Managers Ltd as Head, Investment Department from 2008 to 2009 as well as in Penman Pensions Ltd (now AXA Mansard Pensions Ltd) Abuja from 2006 to 2008, where he attained the position of Head, Investment Department before his voluntary resignation. As an astute employee, he had an illustrious banking career of about fourteen (14) years within which period he held various sensitive responsibilities in operations, credit, marketing and relationship management functions at different times in a number of banks. The banks included the then Oceanic Bank Nigeria Ltd (Kano Branch); Habib Nigeria Bank Ltd (Kano Fagge-ta-Kudu Branch); Citizens International Bank Ltd (Kano Branch); and Assurance Bank Nigeria Ltd (Kano Branch) where he served as the Branch Manager between 2004 and 2006.
Mr. Gezawa holds Master of Banking & Finance (MBF) as well as B.A. (Ed) Economics (Upper Second Class Honours) degrees, both from Bayero University Kano (BUK). He has also acquired the chartered membership of many professional bodies including Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA); Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM); Member, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
As an ardent reader, and to continuously sharpen his multiple skills, he has at various times attended several capacity-building trainings, seminars and workshops both locally and overseas including “Corporate Governance: Effectiveness and Accountability in the Boardroom” at the Kellogg School of Management, NorthWestern University, Chicago, USA.
He is happily married with children and enjoys reading and travelling.
Olusola S. Ephraim-Oluwanuga is a Legal Practitioner of with 30 years standing at the Nigerian Bar. He graduated from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria, Law School, University of Ibadan and went further for an intensive programme at Strauss Institute of Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine, University School of Law, California, U.S.A. on Negotiation and Settlement Advocacy.
He is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK); International Scholar of the International Corporate Governance Network Headquarters, UK; International Bar Association; Institute of Directors; Institute of Mediators and Conciliators, Nigeria, etc.
Sola Ephraim-Oluwanuga has attended many professional and executive trainings around the globe. He was one of the foundation Honourable members (Federal Commissioner) of the Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST) between 2002 and 2007, in the course of which he has done various internship and attended several study tours to understudy the operations of similar institutions around the globe.
He is a participant at National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), he wrote his thesis on assessment of corporate governance status in Nigeria public quoted companies. He is an author of quality and rich literatures in capital market and corporate industry.
He has held many positions in capital market, which include: an Arbitrator/Judge of the IST; an Operator of the Capital Market; a trainer/consultant in the capital market; an investor protection expert and an advocate; a capital market solicitor/adviser. He served on several committees of government related to capital market, which include Presidential and SEC Committee on Unclaimed Dividend Trust Fund; IST Committee on FSS 2020, Capital Market Committee etc.
He was appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of NPF Pensions Limited, and his appointment has been approved by the National Pensions Commission.
He is married to Olusola, a Physician: Consultant Psychiatrist and they have two children. He likes jogging, Public speaking, writing and occasional golfing.
The new PFA will be responsible for managing pension assets of the entire Nigeria Police Force personnel according to the Pension Reform Act (PRA 2014).
